Re-Imagine Ontario (RiO) is seeking a Fractional Executive Director to lead the organization through a period of growth and strategic development. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of RiO’s newly developed strategic plan, building and nurturing key relationships within the community, building partnerships, and most importantly acquiring funding and driving the organization towards achieving its mission and objectives. This is a part-time contractual position for a miniumum of 12 hours per week, and ideally starting immediately. Anyone can apply though preference will be given to applicants who reside in Halton.
Re-Imagine Ontario is a small incorporated and registered charitable organization whose mission is to improve the health, education and employment of vulnerable people, with particular focus on Black and Indigenous populations, by fostering strong community support networks. This role requires leadership experience within the not-for-profit sector, and ability to cultivate and sustain meaningful partnerships. Must be able to co-lead a very small organization with limited resources and systems. Success in this position hinges on adept relationship-building skills and a strategic approach to acquiring funding, ensuring RiO’s continued impact.
